Emma (2009):

It seemed scarcely believable that I should ever find an adaptation of Emma I enjoyed more than 1996 movie starring Gwyneth Paltrow, but I absolutely adored Romola Garai in this 2009 BBC four part serial. To include Jonny Lee Miller as George Knightley, Tamsin Greig as Miss Bates and Christina Cole as Mrs. Elton made it complete. And I so enjoyed the Pushing Daisies feel to the narration.
