Mansfield Park 1983:

This 1983 BBC adaptation featuring Sylvestra Le Touzel as Fanny Price and Nicholas Farrell as Edmund Bertram is considered to be one of the most faithful adaptations of a Jane Austen novel ever. It is also the longest and consequently slowest. But if you ever wanted to see Fanny portrayed as Austen wrote her, then you will want to watch this version. I actually enjoyed watching it, which you may see from my review.
