Lost in Austen

This 2008 re-imagining of the events of Pride and Prejudice is a delight. I cannot watch the scene where Jane Bennet and Charles Bingley promise their love even despite her marriage to Mr. Collins without crying. Recently it was announced that Nora Ephron would write and perhaps direct a Hollywood version of the ITV produced mini series. I wish her well, but I find the original perfect and could not imagine anyone other than Jemima Rooper as Amanda Price and Elliot Cowan as her Mr. Darcy.
