Sorry I’ve been absent

My apologies to my devoted legions of fans for my absence the last week or two. I decided to self publish a book, Good Cop, Dead Cop, that I had given up for dead. I had no luck finding an agent or publisher when I finished it several years ago, but my friend Lee convinced me if I publish on the Amazon Kindle, Apple iBooks or Barnes & Noble Nook that someone is bound to my buy my book, even if just by accident.

Of course, Good Cop, Dead Cop is not a Jane Austen themed book. Instead, it’s a science fiction/mystery/police procedural and not at all appropriate to this website. However the experience of self publishing and all the ins and outs of converting a Word document into an ebook will stand me in good stead once My Particular Friend is finished. I should be back at work on this website and the book very shortly.
