Ask Jane Austen

My book in progress, Jane, Actually or Jane Austen’s Book Tour, follows Jane as she promotes her latest book, the finally completed Sanditon. She’s traveling the U.S. and the U.K., doing book signings and reading excerpts and taking questions from the audience. Rather than me imagining what questions to ask a disembodied Regency author, I thought I might ask you.
What might you ask the Jane Austen if you had the opportunity? And remember that these questions could also reference the nearly two hundred years since her death. I would also appreciate some indelicate or poorly phrased questions, because certainly those will also be asked. After all, not everyone’s familiar with disembodied etiquette.
