Time Running Out to Register for A Scintillation of Scions IV

Well, that’s maybe a bit of an exaggeration from Alan Jacobson of Watson’s Tin Box, but let me share his email with you.

ATTENTA! ATTENTA! ATTENTA! Time is running out to register for A Scintillation of Scions IV!!!

Scintillation IV will be on Saturday, August 13, 2011 from 11 am to 4 pm, at the Owen Brown Community Center in Columbia, Maryland. Registration closes on July 24, 2011 for this annual Sherlockian symposium sponsored by Watson’s Tin Box. Registration is $35 by July 24; after that, $45 cash can be paid at the door provided we are not sold out.

***Please note that along with the day of presentations, music, a killer quiz, and skits, we offer a traditional English afternoon tea for all attendees.

In addition to the Scintillation, we will have a Sherlockian field trip on Sunday, August 14, to the National Museum of Crime and Punishment in Washington, DC (www.crimemuseum.org), where we will participate in a crime-solving CSI workshop. This is an additional fee of $15, discounted from the regular group fee. Transportation to the museum will be arranged (via DC Metro and car-pooling).
