Indie Jane has grabbed my attention

And not just because of the eye-popping mauve/pink on their site. From their about page: Indie Jane is a new blog and community that celebrates and supports independent/non-traditionally published Austenesque literature. We strive to be a fun, honest, and supportive community for both indie authors and readers of Austen paraliterature. Indie Jane will feature reviews, resources, a chat room, message boards, and community events such as read-alongs, twitter parties, and some super secret and fun opportunities to share our love of Jane with the world.

You can be sure that as My Particular Friend nears completion, I’ll be submitting the book for their comments and reviews. Of course now I can’t get rid of the image of Jane Austen with fedora and whip.
